Descripción: This leading online travel business is currently seeking a Key Account Manager – Spain to join their overseas team based out of Barcelona. The successful candidate will work closely with other Destination and Contracts Managers to ensure accounts are being looked after.
As a Key Account Manager - Spain you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
* Primary contact and support for assigned European Chain accounts
* Responsible for overall management, performance and growth of assigned accounts
* Manage and guide the strategy, marketing, merchandising and promotional activities for assigned accounts
* Work closely with Regional Destination teams and maintain internal documentation so that all stakeholders are informed on status of accounts
* Negotiate both new and renewal agreements where necessary
* Support European Destinations Managers on operational/support issues
* Conduct regular/quarterly external account reviews
* Lead regional sales workshops for chain properties with local market manager
* Sustains and build personal relationships with clients
* Be aware of competitor activity and communicate to relevant department

Requisitos: * Must be fluent in Spanish and English
* Excellent analytical and organisational skills
* Experience in a similar role essential
* Understanding of hotel CRS Systems desirable with understanding in the Hotel/Travel industry highly desirable
* Will have experience handling large sized complex blue chip accounts
* Proficiency on a CRS
* Exceptional customer service & communication skills along with excellent attention to detail
* Be able to work well under pressure & handle demanding accounts
