We are looking for Internal Auditor, based in Ho Chi Minh Corporate Office (APAC region)

 

Mission:

Reporting directly to Senior Internal Auditor in Vietnam and to the VP Internal Audit in Spain, the Internal Auditor is responsible for preparing and conducting audits in any of the centers that the Group has in Asia Pacific area.

 

Main responsibilities:

1.    Conduct assigned audits outlined in the annual audit plan, ensuring compliance with the International Standards for the Practice of Internal Auditing, the Internal Audit Charter and the department's applicable manuals/guidelines.
2.    Ensuring the accomplishment of all local laws, rules and regulations and also all corporate & and department policies and procedures, internal accounting controls and systems controls are observed in all the hotels of the region.
3.    Support the management of the area and of the centers to be audited in maximizing their profitability.
4.    Ensuring a correct and appropriate safeguarding all hotel assets and financial resources to ensure they are utilized to maximize the hotel profitability.
5.    Maintaining a continuous and appropriate relation with Regional Office and its members.
6.    Providing coaching and assistance to staff before, during and after the audits


Main requirements:
1.    Minimum experience of 2 years working in similar positions: Assistant Hotel Controller, Accountant and / or internal or external auditor.
2.    A Bachelor degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, Law, Accounting or Hotel Management.
3.    Excellent knowledge of Accounting.
4.    Functional knowledge of all department operations.
5.    Profitability management: economic and financial analysis.
6.    Team management / coordination skills
7.    Very good command of English & Vietnamese language. 
8.    Full availability to travel (in and out of Vietnam). Approx.. 65 % of the working time.
9.    Knowledge of hotel accounting and hotel management tools: F&B point of sale, property management systems (i.e. ACCPAC, Opera, Micros, etc.) and general business systems (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
